Loren began her dance training at the age of three in Torrington, CT, where she was instructed in the Vaganova technique of classical ballet at The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts. For her next 15 years at Nutmeg, Loren studied with many known choreographers and teachers including Eleanor D'Antuono, Elena Tchernichova, Kevin Martin and Sharon Dante. Loren also attended the Joffrey Workshop in San Antonio, TX, and has competed in the Youth American Grand Prix in New York City, where she received honorable mention. Loren moved to Oklahoma to join Ballet Oklahoma. She has performed in many ballets including The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Les Sylphide, Romeo and Juliet, and many more. After spending seven years with the company, she realized that it was time to find her next path in life. Knowing how much she loved dance and children, she knew what she had to do next. Epic Dance Studio will begin its10th year in July, and she is beyond excited! Loren would like to thank everyone in her life who has made this journey an amazing one.
Her training Began in Oklahoma at The Dance Center and Ballet Oklahoma. Staci is a former Miss Dance Oklahoma, Miss Dance Texas and Miss Mardi Gras. She was a dancer for The Cavalry Basketball team, as well as a guest performer and choreographer for the Lompoc traveling group in California. She was the owner of Diversified Dance Studio for 16 years. Her achievements include many regional and national titles, as well as outstanding choreography awards. Staci's students continue to win scholarships, as well as actively showing outstanding leadership in our community. Her dancers can be found on OU and OSU pom, UCO and Ole Miss pom squads. Staci's dancers have performed with Destiny's Child and Stacie Orricco to name a few, as well as local theater and dance productions. Her love for dance is contagious as she continues to teach across the United States.
Kayla Quisenberry is from McAlester, OK, has been dancing for over 19 years. Kayla trained at Pam’s Academy of Dance, Applause Dance Studios, Tulsa Ballet and was also a performance company member/assistant for Tremaine Dance Conventions for 5 years. Kayla was on the McAlester High School pom squad making her a state solo champion, three time team state champion, as well as placing in the top 5 in the nation two years in a row. Kayla has won countless awards, scholarships, and as had the opportunity to travel the world, while assisting many known professional choreographers. Kayla is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she received her Bachelors Degree in Public Relations with a minor in Dance History. She is now an alumni of the Pi Beta Phi sorority on campus. While in college, she was the dance director for many campus activities, awarding her house with multiple winning titles. Kayla has worked with over 10 high school pom teams across Oklahoma and Texas on technique, state and national routines. You can find some of her dancers on Division 1 dance teams. Along with state titles, Kayla has also been awarded with choreography, overall and cash awards for her routines. Kayla is excited and passionate about the art of dance. She plans to always make dance a part of her life and cannot wait to see where her dance career takes her.
Kayla Igo grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota where she trained at Larkin Dance Studio from the ages of 3-18. She began competing with their Junior and Senior Lines at the age of 13. Kayla is well-trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, tap, lyrical, and pointe.
After graduating, she moved to Oklahoma to get her degree in dance pedagogy from the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment at Oklahoma City University. She works at Larkin Dance Studio whenever she returns home to MN during breaks from school. At Larkin, Kayla teaches classes in technique, strength and stretch, ballet, gives private lessons, and runs rehearsals for the competitive groups. She has also choreographed solos for many competitive dancers throughout the United States. Kayla is incredibly passionate about teaching and mentoring her students. She is proud of all of their successes; including her younger sister Eva Igo, who can be seen on NBC's series 'World of Dance'.
